Our Story

Founded in 2005, Potential began life as a coaching and training consultancy, helping leading international organisations to maximize performance, meet critical business challenges, and position themselves for long-term success.

Realizing the potential of learning on the internet, Potential quickly evolved to become a pioneer in educational technology and a leading destination for online learning across emerging markets.

Since our inception we have been innovating tools and methodologies to deliver the best business performance by our learners. A summary of the innovations include:

Launching coaching services in 2005 as the third pillar of our consulting and training activities to deliver on end to end business objectives. This would make us accountable for the application of learning and go beyond the training KPIs of the day.

Developing the Next Generation Business (NGB) Framework before the financial crises in 2007 to guide businesses to create what Professor Michael Porter later termed as “Shared Value” and look beyond the pure top and bottom lines.

Launching in 2009 our first MOOC (Massive Online Open Courseware) targeting entrepreneurs by providing them with free blended learning programs to help them startup and expand their businesses. The programs reached over 50 countries with hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries.

In 2012, we started using Educational Content as a new Marketing tool for organisations to do good for their business and community. These services would be used for Brand Building, Lead Generation and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives.

In 2015, we launched our AI enabled Education Technology (EdTech) platform that provides efficient and practical learning tracks customized to the input and needs of each of the millions of learners. This is what we believe is the future of learning and builds on the “Flipped Learning” model that was popularised by Khan Academy.

Today, we extend that EdTech innovation to provide a SaaS based empowerment platform - the next generation of learning environments - that provide impact at scale in a cost-effective plug and play system.
